Micropigmentation (Medical Tattooing)
For patients with breast cancer, their journey to healing may include both addressing physical needs and providing emotional support. Offering micropigmentation in a comfortable medical environment can give back an element of normalcy to breast cancer survivors. Our micropigmentation specialist is certified in areola micropigmentation, which restores the color and shape of the areola after breast/nipple
reconstruction, by applying natural pigments to the dermal layer of skin. We also offer scar camouflage and provide permanent makeup application for eyebrows, eyeliner and lip liner. Most insurance companies provide coverage for areola micropigmentation and scar camouflage. Some insurance companies will pay for permanent eyebrow tattooing after chemotherapy.
